About This Event

<p>Our Senior Computer Skills Workshop series offers patient, step-by-step instruction for seniors looking to build digital literacy. This month's session focuses on internet safety and includes:</p><ul><li>Recognizing and avoiding online scams</li><li>Creating and managing secure passwords</li><li>Safe online banking practices</li><li>Privacy settings for social media</li><li>Protecting personal information online</li></ul><p>This workshop is designed specifically for seniors with basic computer knowledge who want to feel more confident and secure online. The pace is gentle, questions are encouraged, and handouts with step-by-step instructions are provided. Participants can bring their own devices or use our computers. Volunteer tech assistants provide one-on-one help as needed.</p>
